There are several ways to remove fine lines and wrinkles caused by animation of our muscles.  Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are currently the 3 neuromodulators approved by the FDA for cosmetic use.  There are more to come.  We use small doses of this purified protein to relax the muscle activity.  This happens within 3 days to 2 weeks, but sometimes those lines are etched in the skin and it may take longer.  A toxin treatment is little effort high reward.  I say that because the discomfort is minimal and the results are impressive.  Expect to have this treatment performed 3-4 times a year.  The clinical trials show that the average person metabolizes these products within 3-4 months when treated with the FDA recommended dose.  If your product wears off sooner, you may just need a higher dose and/or your metabolism is higher.  This is common for runners, hot yoga, cardio kick boxers, etc.....pretty much the exact opposite description of me!  : )
